Safari Tent is a cosy cabin style lodge situated near the village of Rhayader, Powys. Hosting three bedrooms; a four poster double, a double, and a bunk room, along with a shower room, this property can sleep up to six people. Inside you will also find a kitchen, and a lounge/diner with woodburning stove. To the outside is off-road parking for two cars, a veranda deck with outdoor seating and dining table, as well as a fire pit with a barbecue rack. Resting in a charming location with a heart-warming interior, Safari Tent is a unique retreat in a characterful part of Wales.

Amenity Notes

Solar power lighting and heating with wood burner. Wood burner oven with cooking hot plate and gas hob, electric fridge. Tourism leaflets, maps, guides, books and board games. Welcome hamper of Welsh cakes, Welsh tea, coffee, drinking chocolate, sugar, milk and marshmallows will be provided. Fuel, power and starter pack of basket of logs and kindling for fire inc. in rent, further supplies can be purchased. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot (please bring own cot bedding). Off-road parking for 2 cars. (sorry no camper vans and caravans visiting). Veranda deck with outdoor seating and dining table and Hot Tub. Fire pit with pizza oven and BBQ rack. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 4.5 miles. Note: A supply of 4 plug sockets for essential use of charging your mobile phone, please do not bring any other electrical appliances. A wall-mounted hair-dryer is supplied in the shower room. Note: There is a small fridge, but please only bring a small amount of fridge items initially and re-stock during your stay. Note: There is a short walk along a graveled footpath to approach your Lodge. Note: The veranda flows out from the Lodge with a small step. The elevated deck has steps down that will lead to the fire pit area. Note: Livestock will be grazing the surrounding fields. Note: Check in is 4pm and check out is 10am. Note: Bookings are from Friday to Friday, Friday to Monday and Monday to Friday only.

Price Information

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
